A warm escape where the mountains meet the silence

Harmont is six hand-built cabins on the edge of Jotunheimen — with a wood-fired outdoor bath, dark starlit skies and hosts who remember what you like. No lobby, no queue, just calm.

The stay

Everything is ready before you arrive

Wood-fired outdoor bath

Each cabin has its own sauna house and outdoor bath. We light it before you arrive, so the water is 38 degrees when you get here.

Breakfast at your door

A local breakfast basket with fresh bread, brown cheese and eggs from the neighbouring farm — left on your terrace at the time you choose.

Personal hosting

One point of contact for the whole stay. Want a table booked, a guide, or simply to be left alone — just say the word.

Trails from your doorstep

Marked trails to Besseggen and Galdhøpiggen start minutes away. Maps, a thermos and skis wait in the shed.

Built to make you stay longer than planned

We designed Harmont around a single feeling: the long morning when no one has anywhere to be. Large windows toward the mountain, underfloor heating in real timber, and a fireplace that greets you after a day outside. Everything practical is already handled — so you can do nothing, for a long time.

Our guests say

We came for two nights and stayed for four. The outdoor bath under the northern lights is something I still think about.

The hosts remembered I don't eat gluten — the breakfast basket was adapted without me having to ask twice.
Daniel VoldBergen
The quietest holiday we've had. No screens, just the fireplace, snow and slow breakfasts.
